This is a classic desk globe by Rand McNally. The Legend reads: Rand McNally Indexed Terrestrial Art Globe, Diameter 9 inches, Distances in statute miles, One inch equals 888 miles.
The globe is made of faded pasteboard. The base is made out of brown metal. There is a time dial at the North Pole. The globe also depicts 8 various ships such as a Chinese Junk, Captain Cook's ship, "Resolution", and a Viking ship among others.

I tried to determine the date of the globe by certain territories. Manchukuo (1931-1945), Italian East Africa (1936-1941), Burma is still part of India,

The globe has much wear , especially the Antarctica axis, however it can still be turned around.
