A beautiful, European square white on white monogrammed pillow cover dating to the early 1900s. It is made from fine, slightly sheer batiste cotton and finely embroidered with silk threads...fancy, detailed "K" monogram in the center surrounded by embroidery and cutwork designs. This is a large layover European pillow cover measuring 23 1/2" square and could be used as a table cover too. Outer edges are trimmed in beautiful floral netted lace measuring 4" deep. The lace is not included in the measurement of the pillow. Good condition overall, this piece displays well but there are about 6 small holes in the lace edging as pictured in my last photo. The only other issue I found were two tiny pin head sized freckles in a pale yellow shade along the top of the pillow. These were so faint that I couldn't capture them with my camera. Piece is clean, ironed and ready to use...
