Vintage Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring with fantastic diamonds from the 1920s. This is a clean and classic engagement ring, definitely a style that lasts.

During the Art Deco period, diamond solitaires were very fashionable. Platinum and diamonds were very in vogue but the Art Deco jewelry style was more geometric and linear than the earlier Edwardian belle époque jewels.

This diamond was graded (as always at RiordanStudio) by a GIA Graduate Gemologist and Accredited Jewelry Professional.

GIA’s color-grading scale for diamonds is the industry standard. The scale begins with the letter D, representing colorless, and continues with increasing presence of color to the letter Z, or near-colorless. Each letter grade has a clearly defined range of color appearance. Diamonds are color-graded by comparing them to stones of known color under controlled lighting and precise viewing conditions.
