Although they’re small, Little Ladybugs are tested and certified safe to EU, US andAustralian standard for tiny hands and mouths. They are handmade with only soft, toxin-free and fully tested materials to ensure they are safe for kids. Recommended for little ones aged 1 and 2 year olds and suitable for Montessori for 3+ years old.

🐞 MACHINE WASHABLE 🐞
Simply put your Little Ladybugs loose in the cotton bag they came in and into the washing machine on a gentle cycle. Dry on a low temperature setting or lay flat to air dry. Do not bleach. Do not iron.
Composition: 60% cotton and 40% milk fibre with 100% polyester fill (from recycled PET bottles).

- 12 baby ladybugs, two each of 6 different colors on their bellies for matching fun, each numbered 1 - 6 dots on their backs
- 1 mama ladybug, with a belly that opens for storage of babies
- 1 fairly made, fairly dyed 100% cotton drawstring bag for easy storage

Our bags are made by our sewing partner in Cambodia, Cambodian Women's Support Group, who provide fairly paid, home-based employment for women. The bags are made with ends of rolls from garment factories, so expect some color variation.

All our products are hand-crocheted and as such there will be slight variation in size and style. We think this makes every product authentically beautiful, unlike factory or machine made toys.

Although home-based, safety is big deal for us and our toys safety certified by a global standard lab to ASTM/US toy safety standards. We also ensure safety and hygiene in our production and production so your toy is ready to play when you receive it.

Our products are ethically handmade by Cambodia Knits, a social enterprise based in Phnom Penh that produces beautiful, high-quality and unique handmade products, while providing fair and flexible employment opportunities for Cambodian moms, aunts, grandmothers, (and occasionally fathers!).

We continuously strive to be as eco-friendly throughout our entire supply chain as we can; from sourcing the right materials, to finding the best suppliers, and designing for longevity (that is, our toys will survive the dragging through the dirt, the multiple washes, and the hand-me-downs).
