What is a dugout and why is it used?

A dugout is a crafted piece of wood that has two compartments. The first for storing dried tobacco or fine herbs, and the second to hold the spring loaded one hitter cigarette bat. These two compartments are secured by a swivel or slider lid. This small discreet smoking device is popular with smokers for its ease of use, efficient size and punch. It is a simple timeless design that always works when you need it to.

Dugout King carries a wide range of one hitter pipes for your convenience. We offer: Glass, Cigarette style metal, Ceramic, Grinder tip, ribbed or straight brass, colored metal, anodized, black straight tipped and exotic wood one hitters. We've made it easy to make your choice with each dugout listing. Simply click on the one hitter drop down menu and select the pipe you would like. If you are ordering separately from the dugout listings, make sure you order a pipe that fits your dugout. 4" dugouts require a 3" one hitter bat. 3" Dugouts require a 2"one hitter bat. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me in Etsy Conversations. Thanks!

How fast will I get my order? Is the Package discreet?

I run my business 7 days a week. I print shipping labels and process orders every morning and my orders go out by 3pm every day. Most customers receive their products within 3-5 business days. I try my best to ship within hours of the sale. Many customers request discreet packaging. I ship in brown and white boxes with no mention of contents on the outside label. "Dugoutking' and 'PRO420' are not mentioned at all on the outside of the package, just my address and the shipping address. We package most products in bubble wrap and newspaper. Your product should arrive safe and secure within 2-5 business days from purchase.

Dugout & One Hitter Size Guide

We carry 3" and 4" tall dugouts. The 3" dugouts can accommodate a 2" one hitter. The 4" dugouts can accommodate a 3" one hitter. Most of our listings have a drop down menu with the one hitter options, so you don't have to worry, we size the dugout and one hitters for you. If you are ordering separately, please note this size chart and order accordingly. If you are ordering a one hitter to fit in your own dugout that was NOT purchased through our shopfront, we cannot guarantee that it will fit. Not all dugouts are made equally!

Dugout Maintenance for Slider Lids and Swivel Lids

Slider Lids can be tight. If yours is too tight for your liking, simply remove the lid and sand down the edges. If you don't own sandpaper, we have a DugoutKing Repair Kit in our storefront with sand paper and two spare lids. Sand carefully and sparingly! If you don't want to sand or are unsure if you will be able to open the lid, please purchase a swivel lid dugout. Swivel Lids come with a hex key for tightening. This ensures that your dugout will remain tight and closed while in use.

Why do I need a stash jar? And why can't I just use a normal jar?

Stash Jars come in many shapes and sizes. They are a definite upgrade from a plastic zip lock bag and are a necessary item to have if you have dried herbs or tobacco, not only to conceal smell but to keep the product fresh. We are expanding our lines of stash jars and our favorite is the black coated 3" stash jar with the bamboo or black lid. This stash jar has it all. Large enough to hold 3-7 grams, child proof locking lid, black coated to prevent UV damage and a very nice rounded stylish design. Dugouts by Reloadable

I started carrying dugouts by Reloadable in 2023. The master craftsman from upstate NY was quickly a crowd favorite. He provides exceptional quality, unique lid designs and enough variety to make sure my customers are always going to find their match. I was so happy with his quality stash boxes that I purchased his entire inventory, as he was more than ready to retire and get his feet in some warm sand. We are happy to now include a section dedicated to his work. They truly are works of art and priced right. You can find his creations here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/DugoutKing?ref=seller-platform-mcnav&section_id=47496287 Or in the category section of my home page on the left, Dugouts by Reloadable.

Wood Pipes- Swivel Lids and Classic open bowl

We carry a wide range of colorful wood pipes in our shop front. These hard wood pipes can withstand years of use and abuse. The pipes often come with a screw on black mouthpiece. If you lose it or damage it we have replacements in our shop. The bowl of the pipes can either be a standard open bowl, or a tight fitting swivel lid that keeps the contents safe. We provide screens that help keep the ash residue out of the pipe. Clean it simply with a poker or paper clip extended out. These are excellent pipes for smoking dried herbs as they are efficient, easy to use and clean and will last a very long time. Have fun!

I am a sole operator of this business. I purchase tons of high quality products from manufacturers, photograph and list the products, manage inventory, process orders daily and ship from my home facility. I take care of my customers if they contact me. Leaving a negative review for any reason can be avoided if you get in touch with me first. I have no problem swapping out products, offering returns and working with you so that you are happy. The main issue I see with customers that are not happy is that they do not take the time to read the description. They expect one thing, fail to read anything, and then leave a negative review. That can all be avoided by taking the time to read my finely crafted descriptions of what I am selling.

As our shop has grown we realize that certain colors are very appealing to our customer base. We have a large selection of
Rainbow colored products, and we also pair up certain color one hitters and grinders. We just got a batch of these fantastic
Wenge Dugouts and thought they deserved to be paired up with all things black.

DUGOUT
The Wenge Dugout is made by our friends at 3rd Grain. These are lifetime functional art pieces that are top notch dugouts.
The swivel lid is tight fitting and easy to adjust over time if it loosens up. It has a star screw that is adjustable.
The dugout comes with two compartments, one for your stash and a spring loaded slot for the one hitter.
This is an all in one device that makes smoking on the go easy and efficient.
STASH JAR
The stash jar is a smell proof black glass jar that will keep the contents secure and UV protected. The lid has teeth
that lock in place. You simply have to push down on the lid and unscrew, like a pill bottle. This is a 100% smell proof jar that
can hold 3-5 grams of herbs.
GRINDER
This 2.5" diameter Herb Grinder will efficiently grind up herbs so that they are easy to store in the dugout. If you grind them first
then they are much easier to pack into the one hitter. The grinder has 3 parts: Magnetic Lid, Grinder and Screened Filter, and a catch
all base that screws on the bottom. This catches the pollen and fine powder residue from the herb.
ONE HITTER BATS
We have a nice collection of bats to choose from: Black Metal Pen- Ribbed Metal- Ebony & Brass- Glass

We ship every day using USPS Priority and 1st class mail. 2-5 business days for delivery.
