These Scottish Holey Stones were collected by my family on the beautiful Southwest Scotland Coastline.

These stones have one or more holes which have been created by natures most powerful forces, it seas. They have many names, hag stones, odins stones, seer's stones and fairy Stones.

Fishermens and sailers have hanged hag stones on there ships brows for 100s of years to protect there ships and luck for good fishing.

For centurys they have been placed near were you sleep to ward off nightmares.

One of my favourite lores is that if you look through the holes on a full moon you will be able to see fairys, very apt as the stone were collected on a beach in front off the volcanic island the Ailsa Craig also known as Fairy Island.
