I am just so enamored of ancient coins, that I have started looking into the lives of those I find on the coin face. This amazing coin depicts the face of Marcus Aurelius Probus, who was a Roman Emperor from 276 to 282.

This is a truly beautiful coin- not a reproduction- only authentic here!

It is an exceptionally clear strike and a gorgeous coppery bronze. The Latin letters that encircle the rather handsomne head (I must add!) of Probus are extremely clear and sharp

All of my coins are purchased from very reputable sources.

The back of the coin is just as dramatic. It depicts his carriage being pulled by 4 horses

I have wrapped it in fine silver so both sides are visable.

It hangs from a hand made sterling toggle clasp that connects to a vivid blue strand of natural lapis lazuli stones

Length is 16.5 inches.

A true piece of history!
