Candy Corn Zombie Halloween Sculpture Ornament, (or pendant)

I loved my candy corn zombie character so much I was compelled to make a HORDE of them. Using a special, hand made face mold I've created, to speed up my process a bit, I can now offer these un-dead creatures at a lower price. Completely hand sculpted, no molds used zombie candy corn sell for 25.00, these creatures are only 17.00 each.

Still hand painted, still mostly hand sculpted and each one is still unique. (even with the mold I created I couldn't resist adding in some variation on their faces and eyes and lolling tongues)

Your purchase is for ONE of the candy corn zombies pictured.

Each zombie ornament will come with my original story I wrote for this character, printed on nice paper and rolled like a scroll.

Should you be wanting to purchase more than 4 un-dead zombie candy corns (building a mob perhaps? an army?) let me know and I can offer you a discount on bulk purchasing.

Each zombie candy corn is about 2" by 2" by 0.5 " (give or take a little)

Each candy corn can be hung like an ornament from it's black ribbon or sit like a figurine, depending upon where you like your living dead candy corn to hang out.... Up to you :)

Candy Corn Zombie Story:
Everyone has their favorite Halloween candy. You know, the goooood stuff, the primo stuff, the stuff that gets nibbled on while you're still trick-or-treating. The stuff parents sneak from the treat bags, the kind of deliciousness that seems to taste ever the more sweeter because it's in miniature form and gets squirreled away before the party, lest some joker think they should actually get some.
The good stuff is different in everyone's eyes, what you're guiltily tucking away in your sock drawer might not be your neighbor's cup of tea. Your little caramels might not hold the affection for others that a miniature bag of potato chips does.
The tastiness level is in the eye of the beholder..er....well tastebuds of the beholder, hence the frenzied trading back and forth. The bargaining, the "3 sticks of gum for one of your bags of peanuts" sort of wheeling and dealing.
Everyone has their favorites.....
Just like everyone has their least favorites, even candy that no one likes at all.
The sort of candy that rattles around the bottom of the treat bag playing a never ending game of school yard pick'um and always being chosen last.
Sometimes not chosen at all...
Sometimes a tiny testing bite, a nibble tried to see if a year has changed anything...but no...you still don't care for it...whatever IT is. Be they molasses chews, sugar free suckers, popcorn balls or even candy corn...these so called "treats" linger well past the holidays. Hovering at the edges of our snacking world, so close to being eaten...but...alas...not.
Beware these treats.
Beware the ones you've "tried" and tossed away.
They have a way of lingering long after their chewed up and spat out demise.
They find their way into the back of kitchen cupboards, they toss about in drawers, they fall unnoticed to the floor when thrown towards the garbage can and skitter under your sofa...lurking.....
No longer a treat, no longer just candy, these bitten things become something else, something more than dust collectors and dirt magnets....
Unfulfilled destinies work their own sort of twisted magic. These treats should have been devoured, consumed, chewed up in a sugar coated haze of indulgence...or been rid of...passed on....but they weren't.
Once bitten...once abandoned, these candies change...a once innocent, innocuous bit of brightly colored candy corn transforms into a thing that no one dares snack on now. Not a candy, not garbage, but both.....caught between two worlds...still bearing the teeth marks, they lurk in the shadows of our homes....growing stronger with each passing day.
Zombie candy, be wary, should you find one...should you dust it off, polish it on your shirt...look upon it's faded coat and see a possible treat once again....beware...should you try another taste....this candy bites back.
