Ladies, this is what you need to get for your man. If you want us to cook for you we need a big spoon. We wouldn't be caught dead with one of them wimpy store bought spoons. Those are for wom..........I mean wusses. We like a spoon big enough to kill a bear with should one wander into the kitchen. Don't laugh it has happened here in Colorado. It is 14 inches long and 2 3/4 inches wide. And just look at that grain and the color. Made from wild Cherry wood. This is the ideal tool to stir a big pot of Chili or homemade spaghetti sauce. Yes, this is what he needs. Get it for him today and then tell him to get his butt into the kitchen and make you a pineapple upside down cake or else.

Shipping is free on this man sized utensil until the end of August on orders to the U.S. and Canada with reduced shipping everywhere else.

This utensil is "pre-washed" so to speak. During the final sanding the grain is raised twice with hot water and then the loose fiber ends are sanded off with a finer grit of sandpaper so that in use the spoon will not get rough. Then it is soaked in a bath of melted beeswax and mineral oil at 160 degrees Fahrenheit.

Care is easy, just wash in hot soapy water and towel dry. Apply some mineral oil or Walnut oil every couple of weeks. Better yet is a mixture of 3 parts mineral oil to one beeswax. Melt them together in a double boiler and pour into a small jar. We usually sell 4 ounce jars but we are out right now. We should have some more soon.
