KALEIDOSCOPE is a stunning mixture of yellow, orange, blue, pink, purple and green, with some unique colors where the dye swirled and overlapped in the kettle. The vivid hues of KALEIDOSCOPE will be a treat to spin or felt!

This 100% Merino wool comes from a local mill that process many different fibers, so you may find an occasional stray fiber from another sheep breed. It is thinner then most commercial Merino top, and as such does not need to be pre-drafted. I fold the whole 4 ounces in half length-wise, then loop it into a braid. Merino spins up into a soft, bouncy fiber, with a lovely hand.

I used Greener Shades Dyes, which are non-hazardous, non-chrome, low impact, heavy metal-free acid dyes. These professional, colorfast dyes meet the Organic Trade Association's standards for organic fiber processing.
When I kettle dye the fiber it undergoes minimal handling to ensure that it does not mat or felt.

All photos are taken in natural lighting, then cropped and edited to ensure the best possible color accuracy on my monitor. Please keep in mind that colors may change from display to display. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

For best results when washing finished wool products or yarn, use cool to warm water and take care not to agitate. Lay flat to dry. There may be a slight color bleed on the first wash. This is normal and will not affect the colors or finished yarn or product.

Thank you for shopping Turquoise Owl Fibers.

**As a note to those who have cat allergies:
My cat is a Siberian Forest Cat. Though there is very little research to back the claim, it is widely believed that Siberian Forest Cats, especially the females, are Hypo-allergenic. I have heard of many who suffer from cat allergies being able to be around and even own a Siberian Forest Cat. I personally have a friend with a cat allergy and she has had a Siberian 9 months now and has not had any issues with her allergy.
My cat is a female, and is never allowed on or near my fiber.
