Oh, sweet, smart owl! Just the type you need looking over your studies this semester!

Our wise guy is comprised of black, rust and cream colors and spells out the sounds for the word owl. On the reverse side, "Ouch! It hurts now, " says a boy with a bandaged thumb.
Don't worry little boy - owl knows how to make it all better:)

About the card: This large double-sided flash card measures 8.75"inches (length) x 5.5" inches height. It is in very clean condition with the exception of a little rusty paper clip mark in the top center of the owl side (see picture 4). Otherwise there are no stains, rips or tears.

Published by Kenworthy Educational Service, Buffalo, NY in 1955 , this flash card/ visual aid was used to teach children how to read by using alphabet sounds.
