Watercolors captured in a Sock Yarn!

Using Claude Monet's artwork as my inspiration, I've been experimenting with a new dying technique - part hand-painted, part kettle-dyed, which looks a bit like watercolor painting. Because of this technique, *every* skein is unique.

**Colors range from aqua to seafoam green to rich leafy green, lavendar to purple to deep blue. These were done on my "Good As Gold" sock base, superwash wool for warmth and nylon for added strength.

All my dyes are locally purchased, environmentally-friendly acid dyes -- low impact, no heavy metals. They are treated to be colorfast, but you may see some dye run-off when you wash them for the first time. Although they are Superwash Merino, I recommend hand washing your finished projects to give your lovingly crafted items a long life. Please remember that the colors may appear differently on your computer monitor. Read the color description carefully.

All yarn is shipped in hanks. Purchase 2 or more items and receive a free pair of stitch markers.
