If you’re interested in felted accessories and would like to create them yourself, but you don’t know where to start... If you are amazed at felted handmade items, but don’t know what different techniques are about... If you’ve never felted before, of you have, but something went wrong – I think this tutorial bundle will be perfect for you!

Let me introduce you to the Basic Premium Bundle – all you need to know about the basics of wet and dry felting.

The package contains LESSON 1, LESSON 2 + two additional video tutorials and a PDF which are not available separately.

In total, the PREMIUM BUNDLE includes:
Lesson 1 – basics of wet felting on the example of jewelry elements (4 video tutorials in total)
Lesson 2 – basics of needle (dry) felting on the example of appliqués on clothes (2 video tutorials in total)
ADDITIONALLY, you will get an extra video tutorial in which I’ll show you how you can combine wet felting and needle felting
ADDITIONALLY, you will get an extra video tutorial for creating jewelry with the use of jewelry tools and findings + PDF

🌕LESSON 1
Jewelry elements are a really good starting point for learning how to felt, even if you won’t wear the jewelry yourself. A slight modification, and you can felt your ball into a different shape such as disc, oval or spindle (which I will also teach you in this lesson). With such skills, you will be able to create a unique button or a center for a felted flower brooch (flowers will be the subject of further lessons – add my shop to favorites and you definitely won’t miss it). Maybe you’ll get so into felting balls that you will start making rugs or pictures... who knows?
Another skill I will teach you in this lesson is making a wet felted rope. They are mostly associated with felted necklaces, but ropes are also useful as flower stems or stamens (the technique is the same, the only difference is the size), bag handles or fringe for your scarf (further, more advanced lessons will be going back to these elements, so it’s worth practicing them already at this point).
🎁In a BONUS video, I will show you how to felt a rope with gradient color transitions.

🌕LESSON 2
I’ll be teaching using a beret as my base material, because it’s small and convenient, but you can apply this technique to other materials and pieces of clothing as well. This method can be used to decorate coats, jackets, thick skirts, tops, scarves, hats, felt bags (not necessarily felted, just made of technical felt)... Some even needle felt on T-shirts! As always – your imagination is the limit!

This technique is perfect for decorating your clothes, but it is also a great way to save damaged clothing. By felting an appliqué on top of a stubborn stain or a hole, you can save your favorite clothes, at the same making them more interesting and unique.
You will learn how to lay out wool for the background and for the design. I will also show you how to blend wool (I like my works to be more textured and dimensional rather than “flat-looking”, so I will teach you that, too). I’ll show you how to add details. How to secure the work when it’s done.
To enrich my textures, I work with different materials (you don’t have to if you don’t have any additional materials, only wool will suffice, but it’s worth knowing how various materials work and what produces which effect). In this course, I work with combed wool, carded wool, locks and combed silk (which is not typically associated with needle felting at all).
In the second video, I expand the subject and teach about felting an ornament.Working with this form of decoration is different than with more surface-covering forms.

🌕Bonus video tutorial on combining wet and needle felting
In this video, I teach how to combine wet felting and needle felting on the example of jewelry elements (which I made in the course of Lesson 1 🙂), but the ability to combine the two techniques facilitates working with larger felted items as well.Often, I’ll needle felt on previously wet felted (rinsed and dried) bags, pictures or reliefs. This allows me to add elements or details, but also frequently to mend things or complete the felting process. This skill is certainly very useful!

🌕Bonus video tutorial for creating jewelry with the use of jewelry tools and findings
In this tutorial, I will show you how to string felted balls on ribbon, jewelry wire and waxed cord, and how to attach clasps. I also teach how to make earrings. In the course of the video, I discuss various jewelry findings such as clamshell bead tips, crimp beads, ends, lobster clasps, spring ring clasps, ear wires, jump rings, pins and others.

🌕Additionally, with this bundle, you will get a downloadable PDF with photos and descriptions of jewelry findings for you to come back to whenever you need to remember which types of necklaces require which ends and what components you will need, how to assemble (one-element and multiple-element) earrings and what to ask for in bead and jewelry component shops.

My name is Justyna Wróbel-Mikołajczyk. I have been creating felted products and teaching felting for over 12 years. I co-authored four publications from the series The Magic of Felting (published in Polish). In my lessons, I show and present clearly and in detail the techniques of laying out your wool and felting. I talk about the most frequent mistakes and answer frequently asked questions (and after 12 years of conducting workshops, I’ve collected quite a number of them).
In this listing, I’m inviting you to take part in Lesson 1, but I’m already preparing other, more advanced courses. Add my shop to favorites to make sure not to miss them!

All expectations met, material feels and looks amazing, I was skeptical at first because it is relatively expensive but I don't regret it for a second. It's the only scarf I own that doesn't become uncomfortable to me even after long wear time.
