This is a fabulous vintage 50's sleeveless sundress and bolero jacket pattern. The dress pattern features a sweetheart neckline in front and a square neckline in back and inverted hip pockets which extend into the skirt back. The bolero jacket pattern features short cuffed sleeves. This pattern is from the designer series that Simplicity started in 1949 and lasted only a few years until 1952. These Designer Series Patterns came in a larger envelope, approximately 8 ins. x 10 3/4 ins. A Simplicity pattern with a printed copyright date of 1950. This is a vintage size 18 pattern with a 36 inch bust, 30 inch waist and 39 inch hips. A printed pattern complete with the original 16 pattern pieces and original instruction sheet. All of the pattern pieces are separated. Ten of the pattern pieces are uncut, and 6 have been cut. A Simplicity Designer's Pattern numbered 8246. This pattern will be carefully shipped between two boards for protection and in an acid free and archival safe enclosure.

CONDITION---The envelope is in fair vintage condition with discoloration due to age. The edges are worn with wrinkles, perpendicular cracks, tears and splits. Stamping on front and back of envelope. The instruction sheet is in good/fair vintage condition with discoloration due to age. The edges has a few slight tears, and a few slight slits on some fold lines. Slight interior hole on cross fold, and a fold line near edge has a worn area with slight holes. The pattern is usable and in good to fair vintage condition. Notice some discoloration on approximately 6 pattern pieces. The cut pieces have small pin holes, and the dart dots have holes due to dart marking. Some pieces are a bit wrinkled and could use some low temp ironing.

PATTERN SHIPPING-Whenever there is an overcharge of .75 cents or more on the shipping cost I will do a partial refund thru pay pal.

Domestic-When you purchase multiple patterns the individual shipping and handling cost is less. It costs approximately .35 cents to ship the 2nd pattern. This cost of .35 cents usually covers the individual cost of shipping a pattern up to approximately 6 patterns.

International--When you purchase multiple patterns the individual shipping and handling cost is less. IT isn't quite as easy to give a quote for the shipping and handling cost of additional patterns, but the cost for multiple shipping is significantly less. Sometimes it's actually zero cost to ship another pattern because it's in the same weight range.
