Isn't she beautiful? I love this ring so much that it actually pains me to get rid of it, but I haven't worn it in almost a decade... it's time to find it a home with someone who will love it, wear it, show it off!

I fully and completely admit that I am not a professional jeweler, just a collector of vintage and antique sparklies. That said, I'll tell you what I know, based on information from the seller from whom I originally acquired this ring.

It is ca. 1940s.

The diamond is a mine-cut .20 (1/5 carat) round diamond, about 4mm diameter. I don't know the clarity and color officially, but it is bright and silver-white, and very sparkly.

The diamond is mounted on a raised, square illusion-head setting, with four cloverleaf prongs. The mount is open on the sides and underneath. The shank features sculptured swirls framing raised milgrain arches. The band is otherwise plain, and tapers to the back.

It is 18K white gold, clearly marked. There is also a TRU BLU hallmark that's a bit more faint.

The ring was resized to a 5.75 about 10 years ago. At that time, the jeweler appraised it at $600. I do not have a copy of that paperwork (alas, I lost it in a subsequent move).

It's in excellent condition, clean and with no visible wear.

I do NOT have a pretty ring box in which to present it. I will, however, be shipping it in a hard, protective box, ensuring that the little beauty gets to you without damage.

Insurance is REQUIRED for this item, and this (as well as delivery confirmation) is included in the cost of shipping.

Ours is a smoke-free home, but liberally populated with cats and dogs. Every effort is made to keep fur away from the goods, however, no guarantees can be made - allergy sufferers, be aware!
