"Sacre Coeur de Marie" ~ "Sacred Heart of Mary"

An old doorknob escutcheon has been transformed into a petite Holy Water Font. A vintage tart tin provides the perfect vessel to hold the Holy Water in. I’ve left the escutcheon "as found"....worn metal with chippy painted edges. The raised scrollwork on this escutcheon is just lovely. I've embellished it with a vintage rhinestone cross. The focal point of the font is a copy of a sacred image from a French Prayer card. It is encased in a bezel and protected by a thin layer of resin. Through the keyhole, another copy from a prayer card can be seen...this one features the Sacred Heart with a cross and The Crown of Thorns. A tarnished wire loop allows for hanging and each one is signed and dated on the back. One-of-a-kind and a Petite Michelle Louise “original” design (white frame in background is NOT included in this listing)

~Kindly read my shop polices before purchasing~

~*~ These are my ORIGINAL "designs." PLEASE DO NOT COPY THEM.

**Measures approximately 5 1/2" x 2"
**This vintage escutcheon has been "adored before" and shows signs of vintage wear.
**I refund any shipping "overages" of 1.50 or more.
