Study of a Woman's Head in Terracotta 1880- a facsimile of an original drawing in red chalk by E J Poynter RA published in the Art Journal of 1881.

A lovely expressive portrait of an unknown sitter.

More striking however, is her resemblance to Victoria Pendleton of cycling fame - dreaming perhaps of unimaginable possibilities for lady cyclists of the future!

The print is 131 years old and has some water damage. Fortunately, the image itself is in good condition and could be framed to exclude the damage. I have reduced it in price to reflect this.

Print measures 9.5" x 12.5" overall. The image itself is 7" x 8".
I will mail it out flat in a rigid pack to ensure safe transit.
