This listing is for a beautiful chromolithograph of insects of the order Hemiptera. Beautiful plants and flowers are also shown. I particularly like the passion flower on the left upper corner.

Hemiptera is an order of insects most often known as the true bugs, comprising around 50,000–80,000 species of cicadas, aphids, planthoppers, leafhoppers, shield bugs, and others.

Size: approx. 6" by 9"

In excellent condition.

This is the actual page from the 1920s book, not a reproduction.
