My late husband loved collecting Early American pewter; now that I'm downsizing, I'd love to find good homes for the stuff.
Not sure if this is a dinner plate or a relish tray. It does have a few minor, shallow scratches, but no dark spots or serious scrapes. The edges are very thin and could be bent out straight if desired; this one came to us this way, bent down.
The bottom has a stylized "A" and the word pewter inside an arched shape, then the number "225". Could not locate the manufacturer using this symbol.
This would make a nice plate to hold loose items on top of a bureau: jewelry for the ladies or cufflinks, loose change, cell phone for the men.
The plate/tray measures 10 1/2" in diameter, the sections are slightly less than 1/2", and the handle sticks up about 2".
