Mastering the Art of French Cooking by who else, but by the greatest chef, Julia Child; and of course her colleagues Louisette Bertholle and Simone Beck. This edition of MtAoFC is the thirteen edition that was printed in 1966.

MtAoFC was first Published in 1961 by the publishing Co. Alfred A Knopf. This Book was made for "Servantless American Cook who can be unconcerned on occasion with budgets, waistlines, time schedules, children's meals, the parent-chauffeur-den-mother syndrome, or anything else which might interfere with he enjoyment of producing something wonderful to eat".

This book is in a very excellent condition due to its age, This book is 46 years young; and still going strong!!!!!. The book pages have absolutely no tears. i believe that it was hardly ever used. The book does have dust stains/dust accumulation; but with a good wipe it can easily be removed. The Sleeve from the top front is ripped a little bit but nothing severe. One can tell that the book is old because of the sleeve, but nevertheless the inside pages are in a very good condition.

Question are welcome!

Another insert from the book, the Dedication:

"To
La Belle France
Whose Peasants, Fisherman, Housewives,
and Princes - Not To Mention Her Chefs-
Through Generations Of Inventive And
Loving Concentration Have Created One
Of The World's Great Art".
