This vintage transferware piece has a classic chinoiserie-style pattern in a lovely shade of blue. You might call it a sort of aquamarine. Not light, not dark, and with a hint of the sea in it. There is a bit of gold trim around the top of the creamer and on the handle.

I am not sure if the piece is actually a large creamer or a small pitcher. It is 4 3/4" tall and 3 1/4" in diameter. However it is used, it is both functional and beautiful.

The creamer is in excellent vintage condition -- no cracks, chips or crazing. There are two very small flaws in the porcelain: one tiny speck on the inside of the creamer and one tiny speck on the outside underneath the spout. Neither are very visible. Neither detract from the beauty of the piece.

This transferware pitcher / creamer would make a wonderful addition to a blue-and-white porcelain collection, and bring a classic touch to any table.
