It's a jaw-dropping 1930's style inky black silk velvet long glamor evening gown by the couture designer "Victor Costa!" Back hidden zipper and fully lined in black silky satin. Gorgeous off-shoulder neckline with a plunging sweetheart design in the front. The entire bodice is boned in a corset-style. Gives you that great wasp-waist look. The waistline is rounded in the front and back. Just below the waistline in the front is delicate pleating on each side. The back of the dress has a large inverted pleat that starts from the center back waistline and continues down the entire length of the dress, opening up into a train design. The skirt is long, flowing and straight in the front, and is a long, flowing train design in the back. So 1930's glamor. Pictures really do not do this piece justice, it really is a jaw-dropping example on vintage couture.
