Lovely retro souvenir scarf of the city of New Orleans and "History, Romance and Gaiety"! Wear it or upcycle it into a fabulous pillow cover!
Pink, chartreuse, dark turquoise, white, and black, retro graphics portray stereotype and historical images associated with New Orleans: Civil war era officer, southern belle, cotton bales with barefoot banjo player, Antoine's Restaurant, Mardi Gras, Brulatour Courtyard, Absinthe House and an early artist rendering of the Louisiana Superdome- (which was conceived in 1966 and completed in 1975)

The scarf is signed "BY Charia" and has an attached brand and fabric care tag- Charmy. 60% Rayon, 40% Nylon, made in Japan. Charia Company was a supplier of tourist souvenirs in the 1960s and 70s. Absolute pristine Vintage condition: no holes, tears, odors, stains or fading.
Hand sewn hem. 29 inches square.
