This is an awesome new camera that I have basically just tested. It is in excellent working condition. I have tested it with 600 Black and White Instant Film from The Impossible Project. The camera can take both Black and White as well as Color Film.

This camera is in excellent condition. It looks like it was hardly used at all. I have cleaned up the camera and lens with rubbing alcohol and a whole lot of Q-tips and cotton balls. This camera still has the viewfinder finder attached. Many cameras have since lost them, but this one is still on! I have taken some photos with this camera and they have all come out nicely. I mainly took pictures indoors with the flash. The last pic is of a Polaroid that was taken with this camera.

Camera History:

Square Cornered models were an advance on the initial 600 series in that they included a built-in automatic flash in similar straight-edged bodies. These models have a 116mm fixed-focus 1-element plastic lens and an exposure correction slider on the front. The basic model is the One Step Flash, which came with or without a close up (CU) lens. Many variants were made for international and promotional markets. The Sun 600 LMS is a basic instant camera by Polaroid from the 1980's. Production was started in 1983 and had a retail value of $39.95.The camera is popular for weddings and parties because of the instant film development.

Specifications:

Lens: 116mm, f/11, Single-element plastic.
Fixed focus (sharpest at 4-5 feet),no close up attachment
Shutter: electronic; automatic speed between 1/4-1/200 sec.
Integral auto flash that works in low light but cannot be forced on or off.
Polaroid's Light Management System (the darken/lighten exposure correction slider).

You can find film from the Impossible Project in Black and White and in Color

I would also go over their individual websites that talk about the film itself. I went through a lot of film before I started to get the hang of it. I would read the following:

Please let me know if you have any questions.

**** All of my "film tested" cameras are tested with actual film, and not an empty film cartridge to see if it powers up and goes through the motions. I am making sure that everything works (shutter, mechanics, spreader bars, etc.. ), and that the pictures come out and are able to develop. Film is not cheap so that is why the cameras are a little more expensive than some other shops. I am giving you the peace of mind that the camera is definitely going to work when you put unused film in it! ***
