These 4 sets of 6 vintage replica buffalo nickel silvertone buttons will add a touch of authenticity to any sheriff's waistcoat or Wild West re-enactor's outfit. Wouldn't a little boy's handknit cardigan sporting these be the cutest?

Each of these buttons is a copy of a real coin minted between 1913 and 1938. Many were turned into buttons. Designed by sculptor James Earle Fraser, buffalo nickels featured a native American head on the other side. As you can see from my pictures, these ones are definitely faux and feature a blank back, but they have been nicely drafted showing a good amount of detail. They also come pre-aged (ingrained with black) to look the part.

Measuring fractionally over 1cm (10.5mm), each of these gently domed buttons is self-shanked and made of some kind of silvertone alloy. The sets of 6 buttons come hand-mounted on card and wrapped in cellophane and would make a charming gift.
