I had to do some research on this glass butter dish which is probably 20th century Czech crystal hand blown in the Venetian style. The gold trim at the rim of the of plate and at the base of dome looks frosted and it is hard to tell if that's part of the design or where the trim has worn off with time. There is more gold trim around the base of the finial and in the floral (grapes?) design at the very top. A few specks of gold are missing from the finial grapes, but that's only noticeable upon close inspection. Here and there, teeny tiny bubbles dot the thick glass. The underside of the plate is very gently worn with slight scratches from typical contact with tables, cabinets, etc. I don't have much more information on this one, but feel free to ask questions and I'll give more descriptive details.

This is a nice piece of sparkly old glass that would look great in your china cabinet...or use it as a cheese plate at your next fancy party.

Approx 8.5" high and 8" diameter.
