Vintage Swedish silver penannular pin.

These brooches are typically an example of Celtic jewelry used to fasten a shawl, cloak or other piece of loose clothing. This pin has a streamlined, modernist design in silver.

The pin is signed "SDn". Research shows this mark was registered to Sven Danielson (1931-1956). The other mark appears to be the Swedish triple crown (very faded) and "S" silver hallmark (indicating 830 fineness or higher). There is no town mark or date letter.

Brooch measures 1 ¼ inches across, with a nearly 1 ¾ inches high sliding pin-stem.

Very fine condition on this elegant vintage cloak pin.
