When I take a break from basketry, it is usually to make a wreath. A professional floral designer by trade, I am always enticed by naturally growing things and the endless creative possibilities. It is a return to my roots.
And for reasons that are even unclear to me, I have named all of the more decorated wreaths with feminine names.
So here is Mallory!

This wreath started with an oval grapevine base.
A collection of moss generously covers the top of the grapevine.
The moss was then accented with mauve colored pepper berries and topped with dried zinnia blooms. It was finished with a smattering of dried purple Gomphrena (globe amaranth) blossoms.
This wreath has about a dozen zinnias in assorted colors and about 30 Gomphrena blooms in purple.

The completed wreaths measure about 11inches wide by 20 inches tall.

I would not recommend this particular wreath for outdoor use.
Sunlight will fade the zinnias and globe amaranth more readily.
I made a couple of these, so your actual wreath may vary slightly from the photos.

This wreath would make a great housewarming gift, or a wonderful treat for yourself! This wreath could hang indoors or outside, but if you choose to hang it outside (as with all wreaths), care should be taken to protect it from harsh elements. Prolonged sunlight could also fade the color. Indoor use only will prolong its life span.

Sorry, but because I use all natural plant materials in these wreaths, I am not able to ship them out of the USA.

SPECIAL NOTE: My dried flower wreaths are made from mostly locally grown materials from my own gardens and native woodlands. The flowers, foliage and buds are harvested only when they are ready. This means that there is a limited supply available.
