This is a beautiful lot of five skeleton keys. They all have a nice patina and one key has a bit of old paint or something of that nature on it. The largest key measures 3 inches and the smallest just at 2 inches. The other 3 keys are around 2 and 3/4 inches. The keys were found here in Colorado which makes me daydream of their origin. Did they open a door here when the West was still wild? Did they belong to someone who saw great fortune from the gold rush? Did the owner remain fortunate or suffer a fate like Baby Doe Tabor, dying penniless? Your guess is as good as mine but I sure wish I could just take a peek into the past they came from. These would be an excellent authentic piece to use in your steampunk jewelry or to use in any form of display. They would also be a great addition to a key collection or great pieces to use in your artwork. If you like the little vignette I have set up in the pictures, I do have the upcycled bust available in my shop and I will ship the keys free if you purchase the bust as well. I will ship internationally but please message me so I can provide you with an accurate shipping price. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Thank you!
