About my Small Collections Rings:
One year ago, while in the studio, I found myself focusing on combining colors and textures instead of metalwork. I mean, the metal is making a home for a color story or two with regard to these pieces, but it's the combinations of stones, pottery shards and organic objects that I want to shout about here...not the settings. I've selected various stones, pottery shards, stones and shell fragments from my personal stashes of wee-beauties in my home and studio -- these bits and pieces are remnants of earth cycles, life cycles, times and places as well as my personal travels. There's a sacredness to each of these rings -- my spirit clings to each one in a significant way and each personal component embedded in silver here holds a soulful heritage. Additionally, the small collections rings are celebrations of places and times and times in places and current and past lives. It sounds complicated. But it isn't. This is joy.

Come, celebrate the Methow Valley with me.

This summer has been a time of:
-fullness
-loss
-turning
-wonderful company and time with family
-rushing rivers
-the tranquility of lakes
-wearing away, building up, tearing down
-friends
-full moons and coyote song
-restoration of words and poetry
-safety
-Robert's arms
---------------------------------------------------
Pure and simple.
Fresh and organic.
Unexpectedly elegant.
Let me weave you a color tale.
Let me drop it all into place.
These things seem to move like magnets, they push and pull each other into position until there's a comfortable, resting collection for the wearing.

This particular collection is built of sterling, Arizona turquoise, aquamarine, pearl and a Methow River stone -- smooth and caramel. A dark patina and hand applied satin finish help the details pop. My maker's mark and soul patch let you know this is original Plumage -- there's a wee bison on the reverse of this ring, too boot, in honor of the interior West (may she live forever).

Stack your joy.
Count it.
Pile it high.
These are the moments you never knew were coming,
the high times,
the kiss of grace on your weary temples.

This ring measures a US ring size 7.75 on a mandrel. This is one of my tapered and asymmetrical bands that is as narrow as 6mm flaring to 15mm and 20mm (fits ALMOST true to size) -- the ring face is 2.25 inches long and is shown here on a 3 inch long finger.

One of a kind!
Built to last.
Made with love.
Crafted to hand down to the generations next.

I love your soul.
