Pocket Gnome - Pink, Purple & Tan

**This listing is for the first pocket gnome pictured. It is created from hand dyed organic bamboo velour that was dyed in shades of pink, purple and tan.**

Dolls are the perfect toy for imaginative play. They become the child's friend and confidant. Your child will love toting these tiny little dolls around. All pocket gnomes are crafted from hand dyed organic bamboo velour and are stuffed with clean carded wool.

The bamboo was dyed using Procion dyes for color longevity and durability.

The gnome's expressionless face is crafted from high quality cotton interlock and allows your child to truly imagine its facial features and expressions.

They love being tucked into pockets and carried off into adventures.

Each gnome measures 4" high and is approximately 3" wide at its widest point. For this reason, these dolls are intended for the 3+ crowd or those that no longer mouth their toys.

The gnomes hat is securely attached to its head. Pocket gnomes make great stocking stuffers!

*A Word About Our Wool*

All wool used in our toys comes from a local sheep farm, Touchstone Farms. They are the first certified humane sheep farm in the United States. The sheep are allowed to roam and frolic in green pastures, not forced to stand in tiny cages in a crowded barn.

The sheep are not stressed during shearing. I've personally witnessed and helped skirt wool during this process. Each sheep is handled with care and respect.

When I get the wool home, I hand skirt it, hand clean it, and hand card it. I don't use harsh chemicals like mills do with commercially available wool. Did you know that most commercially available wool is treated with hydrochloric acid to dissolve vegetable matter? I don't want my children touching that residue, and I don't want to provide toys to your children with it either.

My wool is cleaned using a gentle soap only, and rinsed clean.

I use wool from Clun Forest sheep, which is known for its soft and squishy texture. This makes my finished toys super squishy too!
