I'm pretty sure I know what you are saying right about now. Either "OH--MY--GOD!" or "Holy @#$%". No, you are not hallucinating. Of all things, you are beholding a fury Jesus shadow box light that was made from a kit sometime around 1986, (or at least dedicated at that time). It features the words, "Praise the Lord - Lord bless all who live here. Let them love each other as they love you." Since it is a known fact that Jesus answers all prayers, this would make an ideal gift for a violent and dysfunctional family trying to live under one roof. It has an amazing ceramic Jesus at the center of it all and a light at the bottom. The original light was porcelain and was switched out for a modern one with a switched cord in the name of safety. The frame is made of wood and covered in an amazing red furry material and, of course, trimmed in gold. The inside is a cream cardboard that has had some moisture issues, hardly noticeable amidst all the marvelousness of gold lettering and lighting and red fur and let's not forget Jesus! It measures 15" round and 3" deep. The cord is five feet long. Made by Ric's Crafts Projects (Metro-Mantra??). Back removes with three screw to access light bulb and our Lord and Savior. This IS the definition of "Kitsch" and fabulous.
