This is a bottle of Richard Hudnut's very popular sachet, "Tout Mon Jardin," introduced in 1914. This is the extra-large size bottle - 7" tall x 3" thick - which is not often found. Much more common are the 5" and 6" sizes. The glass is very heavy and thick, and the cap looks to be brass, which has darkened to a bronze color. The label on the front reads "TOUT MON JARDIN POT-POURRI SACHET RICHARD HUDNUT NEW YORK PARIS COPYRIGHT." The text is super-imposed on an image of a wicker basket with roses spilling out. The label is mostly intact, but shows some edge and surface wear. The back of the bottle is embossed with the words, "RICHARD HUDNUT New York" and 4 fleur-de-lis. Both sides of the bottle are embossed with the Richard Hudnut logo, and on 1 side is a partial label reading "Weight 6 oz." The bottle is full and the pot-pourri remarkably still retains its scent after almost 100 years. The glass bottle is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Other than the noted wear to the label, the only flaw is a dent in the cap.
