This is my most popular corset. Made from an 1879 pattern, the long slender curves make you feel exquisite. It is available in satin or moire with satin trim. Flat laces and detached modesty panel in the back are included.

SIZING: Once you place your order, please use a soft tape measure (available at most grocery stores or Wal-Marts) to take accurate measurements of your bust, waist, and hips. I will then construct your corset 3-4 inches smaller, allowing you to lace down to your desired size. It is important that you are as accurate as possible on the measurements to get a good fit.

COLOR/FABRIC: This corset is available in your choice of two fabrics: Satin or Moire (the moire is shown). Satin is available in white, black, dark red, chocolate, and sage. The moire is available in black and white. For other colors or fabrics, please ask. Silk shantung is available for an additional $20. Assorted brocades available for an additional $10.

BONING: The boning for this corset is all spring steel. Steel is flexible to allow a little give, but is slower to bend out of shape than plastic. This corset has 20 pieces of boning all around, including double widths at the front, side, and back.

CONSTRUCTION: Three layers of fabric are used the construction of this corset: the outer layer of your choice of fashion fabric (silk will have an additional support lining), the lining layer of soft cotton, and the interlining of heavy cotton duck. This gives you comfort, beauty, and strength in one garment. Seams are sewn with a short stitch and are "lapped" (pressed toward the side and stitched again) for extra strength. The center front busk offers a hook and stud closure for easy dressing.

*Construction takes about 3-4 weeks from date of purchase.
