This RACIAL JUSTICE top 6-page pattern is my first-ever knit yoke stranded colorwork design and first-ever knit intarsia too with the multiple individual strand color twisting in back.

A working title for this design was ‘Fists and Flames’ over at (and shout-out to) https://reddit.com/r/craftivists.

We start this top-down seamless design at the neckline, complete the Candle chart rows (color grid stitch chart only), complete the Fist chart rows (also color grid stitch chart only), then split for the sleeves which are put on hold as the straight torso (free from shaping) is completed down to the waistline. Then short sleeves are completed seamlessly as well.

This pattern design in US knit terms may not be distributed or sold as your own, but feel free to sell a finished item made from this pattern.

Love love love!! I was a little intimidated because it was a more advanced pattern even though I started about a month ago so I made it a bit easier on myself by not switching out the colors and just making the separate colors difference pieces then stitching after. Followed the pattern for the face and body and it’s so cute 🥺

This is a unique idea, so I wanted to give it a try. It's a great pattern and the liner I crocheted turned out to be softer than I expected, but it was just too thick to be comfortable for me. If you try out this pattern, I recommend using a soft, but very thin yarn. Quality pattern, though.

The shop owner kept me updated every step of the way, used my personal measurements to make the piece unique to me, and DID AN AMAZING JOB with the entire project!
