The listing is for 1.3 oz.
The color is called red wine. It's dyed over natural reddish brown mix in which the tops is a real light natural red/frost so the tops are lighter and the tips are darker and have a brown tone.
Very pretty in person!

This is yearling mohair from my young man "Bash". Bash is a young buck buck has really soft hair. His hair is exceptionally soft for a buck and really easy to work with which I am told my doll artists who have rooted his hair.
The length is about 11".

All of my combed mohair is completely ready to use as soon as you receive it. Just take it out of the bag and start rooting. No frizzy ends to cut off the tops...I've already done that for you. I do this on all of my combed mohair so you have little to no waste with my mohair. All you get is the best part of the locks.

I try to remember to put the goats name so if you like the mohair, you will know who's to ask for if you want more of the same hair in the future.

All of my mohair is completely washed, conditioned from raw to finish. After dying it is always washed, conditioned, completely combed, rinsed and conditioned again. Mohair has to be conditioned as all of the yolk (natural grease) is washed out. If you don't condition it, the dying process and the combing can cause breakage and also the mohair can get very staticy when working with it. I use natural products for washing and conditioning on my mohair which include natural oils to put back in the moisture that washing takes out.
You are welcome to check out my process. http://mohairhouse.com/mohairprocessing.html

I welcome any questions you may have before you buy.
I guarantee ALL of my mohair, so I do accept returns if you are not happy, but please read the description carefully and make sure this is what you want before you buy.
Even though I've never had any returned, if you are unhappy for any reason I will refund you plus the shipping you paid. The mohair must be sent back exactly the same way I sent it to you and must weigh the same amount.
Thank you so much again for stopping by!
