Kodak Brownie Super 27 for 127 Film Camera, Cute 1960s Memorabilia
Vintage from the 1960s
Offered here is a Kodak Brownie Super 27 film camera. This unit is in perfect working condition, and could be put to use if you are a 127-film buyer! The body shows minimal signs of wear and the lens glass is clear and free of any haze, fungus or marks that could impede image quality.
The Kodak Brownie Super 127 is a viewfinder camera taking 4x4cm images on 127 film. It was made in the USA by Kodak, from August 1961 - June 1965. It has a built-in flash holder for AG-1 flashbulbs, covered by a door beside the lens. The f/8 Kodar lens has two aperture stops - "SUNNY" (f/13.5) and "CL'DY BR'T/FLASH" (f/8), selected by a knob on the front, between the viewfinder and lens. There are two focus zones, "CLOSE-UP" (3½-6ft) and "BEYOND 6ft". The shutter has two speeds, 1/80 when the flash door is closed, and 1/40 when open. Winding the film cocks the shutter, hence preventing double-exposures. This is a fun example of an early 1960s consumer camera that would look great on your bookshelf, or as a cheap and useable camera for the rare 127-film enthusiast. Why not make it yours today?

This little camera is amazing! Mom had a vintage Ansco box camera and my small collection began with hers. Seller packaged with camera in its pristine leather case along with its flash outfit as well as original booklet, all bubble wrapped within its leatherette original sales case which was, too, packaged in bubble wrap and in exactly the right sized shipping box so it could not move! The camera itself is unique as described and as I researched a rare find and is of a great material and color! It is unique and a great addition to my collection! I am thrilled to have it now!
Item arrived within a very good time, less then a week! Item matched the description perfectly, was packaged very well and even a handwritten thank you on the reciept of purchase which i thought was thoughtful and kind to take the time to do so, if in the future this place is selling something of the same manor and in the same price range and quality i was looking, I would defenitely choose them first! Absolutely 100% satisfied customer!!and i dont about others but speaking for someone who has ordered MANY items online and have dealt with plenty of HORRIBLE stores and just lies and recieving thi gs that in NOWAY shape or form was qhat was pictured and described, it was soooo nice getting exactly what i expected and deserved and in an amazing time and care..again just 100% satisfied, thank you again!!
Had an issue when I received this camera. I promptly contacted Jeff and we made plans to exchange. He honors his exchange policy and I am so happy for it. I have since sent over 100 shots through the camera and it has worked flawlessly. Very happy, thank you
I was disappointed after receiving this item b/c there were some dust smears visible through the viewfinder. This is the camera I used to learn photography. It was Nikon's beginner's SLR sold '82-'86. I tested this with 6 different film types noting the camera functioned well and smudging did not impact the images. my old one went out. I used it pretty heavy 2 years. Sparingly after. Stopped taking a battery charge. This is not the Nikon that lasts a lifetime and does not approach the quality of intermediate Nikons at the time and was priced about $150 in '84. Good: it is very light & compact. Has programmed, AP & manual modes. I bought this to replace an old gift. Bad: It is full of plastic parts and potential problems that won't be worth fixing. It's a learner and is good for that but don't expect years of continual use.
