A sharp, well-defined chromolithograph of cats -- from the cute domestic variety to wild ones like the puma, leopard, and wildcat. From W. F. Kirby's Natural History of Mammalia, published in London in 1889, adapting the German work of von Schubert.

The full print is shown in the last photo. Other photos show details from the print.

The colours are very vivid and lifelike. The paper has a wonderful patina. Blank on the back. Minor tears along the fold and the edges, if any, have been repaired with archival mending tissue. In very good condition.

This is an original, not a reproduction! Bananastrudel sells only originals.

Shipped to you folded as issued, in an archival cello sleeve with sturdy backing, or rolled in a mailing tube. For US and Canadian orders, tracking will be included. International orders are sent by regular air mail, no tracking.

Size of image: approx. 14" x 10.25" with half-inch borders
