Have you been searching for just the right piece to compliment your home decor? This is just the piece to give you that unique edge and it makes a great conversation starter.

Our Story: We believe nothing is either created or destroyed but transformed into something special and new. Everything you see has a story, a prior life, and a desire to be used again. Through our desert travels we come across many old and forgotten pieces. One of our most recent finds has been a collection of old, desert hardened munition crates. These pieces of American history were left to rot under the desert sun for the last few decades.

When we purchased the lot of dilapidated crates, each one held a little surprise for us. Some had an unknown critter nest, others were literally falling apart as we loaded them, desert scorpions lurked in the dark, spiders everywhere, and a very agitated nest of hornets and I mean big hornets. Don't worry these guests have since been relocated to a new home...

This listing is for a storage cabinet created from 1952 Korean War era wooden munitions crate that contained rockets for the classic Bazooka rocket launcher. There are three original manufacturers of these crates originating from Alabama, Georgia, and Iowa. Each crate still retains it's original manufacturer's stamp. No two are alike and they all have their own little quirks and idiosyncrasies that make them unique. They have been through a war and back!

During the restoration process great care is taken to preserve the hard earned distress and patina that these crates have been subjected to over the last sixty years.... Each piece is sealed to help prevent any further distress from the elements or from aging.

Anyone with a rustic, country, mancave or military theme would appreciate this unique cabinet. You can hang it in your garage filled with memorabilia or mount it in the bathroom for storage.

This cabinet measures: external dimensions: 29 3/4" w, 28 1/2" h, 6 1/4" D.
internal dimensions: 251/2" w, 12 1/2" h, 4 1/8" D. (measurements may vary slightly on each unit due to condition the aged wood)

I can also make these into liquor cabinets, shadow box, shelving/ single cabinet, camping/lodge box, etc... In our own home we use them as coffee tables and nightstand tables.
We will be listing a few other cabinet options over the next few weeks...

If you are interested in the cabinets or have questions please feel free to email us. We are happy to customize something special for your mancave, lodge, Prepper location, or home.
