Antique Victorian set of Silver Urethral Probes & Scalpel. This unusual item dates from around the late 1800s and contains 6 2-sided urethral probes of varying sizes. Size is indicated on the thumb screw slide in the center of each. The miniscule scalpel (instrument closest to you in 1st picture) sends shivers down my spine when I think about it, so I try not to. The case is in very good condition with a few scratches, some wear on the corners, and a functioning latch. The purple satin and velvet lining inside the box are unblemished. The probes themselves have all of their original finish and are in excellent condition.

The box is 9 3/4" by 3 1/2" by 1" and the probes range from 7 1/2" to 9" long. (shudder)
