This listing is for a set of Splayds -- a whimsical combination of a fork, knife, and spoon -- originally designed by Australian innovator William McArthur in 1946. This particular set was distributed by Stokes, probably in the 1960s-1970s.

The set comes in its original blue box (which shows a lot of wear) and the back of each utensil is impressed with "Stokes 18/8" along with "Splayds by McArthur." The utensils show some minor signs of wear, but are in great, vintage condition. Each Splayd is 7 1/4 inches long.
