This antique miniature scout knife is so wonderfully crafted and so small!

These knives are small but very well made and they have real steel blades. They are only 1-3/8 inches long in the closed position. The single 7/8” blade on each snaps open and closed easily. The handle is bone and the shield on the front says "SCOUT". The blade is in excellent original condition, but the bone handle does have a small chipped area. Also do note that this piece does not have a bail. The tang is stamped A.W. Wadsworth & Son, Germany. In Levine's book on knives, A. W. Wadsworth & Son Germany made knives from 1895 - 1922. Wadsworth was a brand used by Kastor, not a company. Kastor was an American company, that owned factories in Germany and in the US, and that also contracted private brand (i.e. its own brand) knives from other factories.

Please do inquire for more detailed pics if needed...
