Roll up! Roll up! An amazingly whimsical, wonderful circus-themed hobby horse is here. Only one other made previously, this is the first girly circus horse ever made. Magnolia is named in recognition of all the beautiful magnolia trees in full-bloom at the time of her creation. I chose the colours of magenta & red for her bridle & headdress to compliment her rich, robust coat & mane. She is hand-felted from ultra-fine Australian hand-painted Merino, her mane is kettle-dyed thick/thin wool yarn & her beautiful eyes are needle-felted in place. I have hand felted three decorative 'feathers' which are embellished with silk tussah & are both glued & sewn in place to ensure they stay put. Her bridle & reins are sari silk ribbon & there are a few silk rosettes jazzing-up her bridle. She is stunningly unique, a brilliant gift for a theatrical, flamboyant child - will be a feature in any room, people will see her and go 'wow'... Magnolia is not a toy; she's an Wild Woolly accessory :)

These Woollies are made with 100% pure Merino &/or Corriedale wool, hand felted by me, their manes are 100% pure wool & they are also firmly stuffed with wool. They are securely fastened to a smooth sanded hardwood dowl & finished with non-toxic Orange oil. They stand around 1 meter in height and weight a little over a kilo.

I attach the bridles by sewing them in places with silk thread, then use a touch of non-toxic craft glue, mainly to hold them in place.

These horses take many hours to make and each is done with love and care and made to be loved, played with, admired & adored, fought over - ahem- I mean shared nicely (better buy two ;0 ), left out in the yard (not in the rain, Woolies don't like to get wet - spot clean is OK). These horses are made for children to ride & grown-ups to decorate their kids rooms with!

Heaps sold in Australia & overseas to playgroups & kindergartens, art galleries, unborn babies as their welcome-to-the-world gifts & of course as Christmas & birthday presents.
