I recently came across this wonderful, interesting Exide glass battery box. It was once used to keep batteries dry along the railroad but now could be used to display any items of your choice. It really works great to showcase seasonal items. It would also make a neat terrarium.
Total dimensions: 7 3/4" x 6 3/4" x 13".

Someone along the way has cut 2 acrylic circles which could be glued in to close up the holes in the glass lid (photo 3). There is one chip on the rim and two cracks (each about 5" long) that have been glued, please see photos 4 & 5. The jar is being sold as-is. Unfortunately I have no way of knowing what the existing cracks will do over time. Even with the flaws this is a neat piece. There are alot of bubbles and waves in the glass and 'exide' and 'Made in USA' on the front and back.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to request more photos.

It will ship UPS Ground ever so carefully packaged.

Thank you for looking and please contact me with any questions!
