Gift wrapping and packaging

We pack using upcycled material. If plants come in potting mix, we secure the mix with paper/wax paper/plastic wrap. We use soft material to pack between leaves and around stem. We then wrap in either butcher paper, packing paper or upcycled bubble wrap.

Hoya Care Instructions

Hoyas can be selective in their growth environments and potting mix. They prefer a chunky mix - including orchid bark, perlite, leca, coco coir. I include earthworm castings in my hoya potting mix. Hoyas do not need to be overwatered. Their roots will rot easily. Most of my hoyas can be watered once every 2 weeks. They love to be outside in the summer time, but never in direct sun unless you want to sun stress their leaves for a few minutes. Otherwise, they will shrivel and/or burn.

What is your favorite potting mix?

It depends upon the type of plant! I have a homemade potting mix including perlite, orchid bark, leca, coco coir for my hoyas.

What is the trick to getting cuttings to root?

While every plant species propagates a bit differently, the general rule is look for a node! I prefer water propagation. Get that node covered in water and see if baby roots begin to emerge.
