This is a very rare vintage CHANEL navy purse with the wine red rope strap from the 80s.
Sold at Mitsukoshi department, Nihonbashi, Japan back in the era.
The body has very unique stitches with little scuffs and scratches, almost in excellent condition including corners.
The string and pipings are made out of robes that japanese obi-like feature, and remains am impressive combination with the gold tone chains on navy lambskin.

The CC closure at front stands out vertically when you open and close the flap, which is also considered a rare Chanel purse style.
The interior shows some scratches as you can see the photo. There remains some odor that came from storing for years, but I have cleaned it over and over, and it got somehow better.
If you are very sensitive about smell or cares about it, it may not be the best piece.
Has the hologram and boutique sticker of Mitsukoshi.

If you are Chanel vintage collector and lover, this piece is absolutely the one you cannot miss!
