This knife is hand forged from 1095 high carbon steel. The blade is heat treated so that it has a hard cutting edge, and a softer spine. This allows for greater toughness in a blade that still has a long lasting edge. The handle is made of copper, antler, and walnut. The antler has a very rustic example of scrimshaw, scratches are made in the polished antler, then ink is rubbed into the scratches. The handle is attached with high quality epoxy, and a through tang that is riveted on to an inset copper pien block in the butt of the knife. The sheath is hand stitched vegetable tanned leather with a beeswax coating.

Blade length: 3"
Handle length: 3 1/4"
Spine thickness: 3/16"

This is a wonderful everyday carry blade. It's small enough that it won't get in the way, but the 3" blade is big enough for most everything you'd do on a day to day basis, everything from carving wood to cutting up your food.
