Because every order is custom made, you will be working directly with me, the shop owner, throughout the design and creation process. All of my designs can be customized to fit a variety of budgets. If you prefer to make changes to any suite as it is listed online, please message me directly to discuss your needs. A pocket invitation can be reduced to a single layer, a flat invitation can have layers, pocket folders, and inserts added to it – the options are endless to create a suite that is truly yours. If you wish to change the elements of this invitation, please message me directly and list EXACTLY what you’d like to include so I can be sure to get you the correct pricing.

HOW IT WORKS

Please message me directly or email me at carrie [!at] birdhousestationery.com to set up your custom listing. If you wish to make any changes to the items in your invitation suite, please let me know exactly what you would like to include in your suites so I can provide you with the updated pricing. I will then create a custom listing for 50% of your total as a deposit. You are welcome to make any changes to the quantity or update the items in your suite up until you pay your final balance, just know that these changes may change your final amount due.

Up to 3 rounds of PDF proofs are included in your purchase price, so you may make revisions before approving your file for printing. When all of your files look 100% correct, you will be directed to my online approval form to approve your files, and provided with a link to pay your remaining balance. After approving your file for printing, no further changes may be made to your order without incurring additional fees. Please check your files VERY carefully because any errors left unchanged after final proof approval are your responsibility.

Expect your first round of proofs 1-5 days after sending payment and wording. I request that all wording be sent directly to carrie [!at] birdhousestationery.com via Word Doc if possible. I also have a specific Excel format that I prefer to use for envelope labels and place cards – you will be directed to that file if your order requires. The design process typically takes 3-6 weeks, but rush orders may also be available depending on my work load. If you are planning ahead, great! – I love to have extra time to perfect your order, so order your invitations as soon as you are ready. Completed projects ship 1-3 weeks after final approval via USPS.

Cancellations after purchasing your deposit and receiving your first proof will be subject to a fee of at least $35, depending upon the items you ordered. The remainder of your deposit will be refunded and your balance listing cancelled. After approving your final draft and paying your outstanding balance, your order is sent to print directly and cancellations are usually not possible.

DO IT YOURSELF KIT

I will design, print and cut all items in your suite, including pocket folders, card stock layers, and envelopes. These items will be shipped to you unassembled. You will then be responsible for assembling each invitation on your own. I do not supply tape or glue for your assembly, but do have recommendations for you. One fully assembled invitation will be included for you as an example. Pricing is as follows:

DELUXE ASSEMBLY

Deluxe assembly is available for this invitation. I will design, print, cut, and physically assemble all items in your suite. I will assemble any layers of card stock, pocket folders, envelope liners, mailing labels, etc. In addition, I will stuff inserts into the pockets, add postage to your response and mailing envelopes, and seal invitations for you. You will receive a box of 100% complete invitations, ready to be taken to the post office. I do not offer mailing services – I recommend that you double check your completed invitations against your guest list just to make sure everything is in order before mailing. This service is available for $1.00 - $2.50 per invitation depending on the weight of your invitation and how many inserts you have. This service DOES include the cost of postage, but not mailing services. Please message me directly for correct pricing or to add Deluxe Assembly to your order.
