Jerry T. Okimoto (1924-1998) Geometric Painting ca.1970:

A rare and fantastic acrylic on canvas painting by well listed Japanese-American artist Jerry Okimoto. It is really part painting / part sculpture. Made up of interlaid canvases that form a sort of optical illusion of one canvas floating over another in space. I purchased this piece from a gentleman who was friends with the owner of the Krasner Gallery in NYC. It comes with the original gallery announcement card that is also signed by the artist.

Measurements: 50" wide by 42.5" tall. 22" wide at the top point.

Condition: Good vintage condition with wear to the some edges and some mold spots on the rear.
