This is a real find for the serious tube radio collector. The I.T.I. Radio was sold by the Rauland Corp. out of Chcago just after World War II. Sister radios were marketed as the Lyric. Models of I.T.I radios like this one may have been made via correspondence course kits. It is a compact beauty; a fully restored version like this is very rare.

This AM band table top model has been restored to working condition by my dad who, in the 1950s and 60s, was the part-owner of a television and radio repair shop in Thomasville, North Carolina. He replaced all the paper capacitors and two tubes. The controls have been thoroughly cleaned and the all bakelite chassis has an incredible mint shine.
